Mission
The Mission of the Noble County Chapter of OGS is to share, collect, research and promote genealogical records. We provide volunteers to the Caldwell Public Library Genealogy Annex
We have numerous family history books, notebooks and family files, including First Families. We have an obituary collection from local newspapers covering 1880 to present. Our collection includes history books of Noble County, church records, census records, cemetery inscriptions, marriage records and extensive military collection.
We have two microfilm readers to view our extensive collection of Newspapers, Probate Journal 1851 – 1882, Settlement Records 1852 – 1889, Marriage Records 1851 – 1873, Birth Records 1861 – 1879, Death Records 1867 – 1919 and Military Discharges 1861 – 1913.
We meet on the third Saturday of the month at 11:00, except December. The meetings take place at the Caldwell Public Library Annex. Everyone is welcome.
